What is the difference between blocking a user and marking a ticket as spam?

These are two separate actions with different effects:

Mark as Spam (per ticket):

  • Moves that specific ticket to the Spam folder.
  • Sender can still submit future tickets.
  • Other tickets from the same sender are unaffected.
  • Reversible: Admin can restore from Spam folder.

Block/Disable User (per user):

  • Completely blocks the user from submitting any new tickets.
  • Blocks login access to the portal.
  • All future emails from this user are rejected.
  • Existing tickets remain in the system.
  • Reversible: Admin can re-enable the user

    .
Use "Mark as Spam" for individual unwanted tickets.
Use "Disable User" when you want to permanently block all communication from a sender.
